Because that's what new alternative is now, genre-less, encompassing all sounds from edm to trap to rock. Our imaging is no different with plenty of guitar buzzes, up against trappy music mixed with the usual smattering of vocal treatments and sound design elements that bring that nu-skool sound (but not nu-metal sound, Fred Durst).
