The Creative Well is Mud
Sometimes coming up with that new great idea, from scripting to production techniques, can seem like a real chore. It can take longer and longer to come up with some great way to make your production just that little bit different to everything else in the marketplace.
Sometimes it feels like the creative well isn’t empty, it’s just become muddy with all the other ideas already used…
oh, and that little girl who got thrown down there…
Earshot!
No it doesn’t mean a punch to the side of the face… It’s a podcast.
wizzFX creator Chris Nicoll join’s 95.8 Capital FM’s Arden Hanley in the current episode of The Earshot Creative Review.
Hear two men with colds, and Chris talk all over the show about imaging, for good or ill. If you’re about core branding, then Arden has some great points, and if you’re about not being sick – Chris’s the man.
And, who is that guy in the background? And why didn’t he even try to smile? Doesn’t his hat make you think some leather chaps are involved in his outfit?
RANT: Churning Out the Same Generic Crap
You’re not meant to clone a person.
They did it with a sheep and look how people took it.
Churning out the same stuff over and over got ? no where pretty fast.
So why do radio writers and producers do the same boring, generic, fit the same mould as the last peice, crap over and over?
We say to them: FAIL.
Looky Looky
We actually went and spray painted that on that wall.
Banksy be damned!
And actually, it’s less looky looky and more listeny listeny.
