The darling of UK radio, the Sony Award winning Jack FM wanted a new, fresh approach to it’s imaging. Chris and wizzFX got the task of trying to create new and wild ideas, along with our friends at Ruptured Spark, that would fit the Jack format of ‘playing what we want.’ Weird, rude, funny, topical and strange all fit the bill when it comes to Jack – easily up our Alley.
Sue Carter, Programme Director at Jack FM Oxford said this when she heard demo’s of our other work:
“How I laughed – I haven’t heard a demo in a year that has made me laugh. Sad, but true for radio over here at the moment!”
And after the first batch of work:
“Seriously some great reaction here (I’ve been reading them out).”
In 2010, Jack FM won a Gold Sony, and Gold Arqiva awards for Best Imaging in the UK. wizzFX has been credited with playing a big part from writing, to producing.
